Career Guidance

Psinove - career guidance

What is it?

Throughout a professional journey, there are moments for reflection and consideration about the present situation and future goals.

Choices made in the past may be re-evaluated in light of the direction life has taken. Changes in routine, the decision to start a family (or not), personality, the consolidation of values, and even new interests are all factors that can lead a recent graduate or a professional to reflect on the direction of their career.

The goal of career guidance, supported by an assessment carried out by a psychologist, is to help individuals identify their interests and their skills/competencies, making it easier to make a more informed decision. This way, they can plan and redirect their professional path with greater satisfaction. Career guidance does not make the decision for the individual but facilitates the process.

When to Seek Career Guidance and Counseling?

You can seek career assessment and guidance whenever you feel the need for support in making decisions about your professional future. Some ideal moments include:

  1. When you are in the process of deciding on a course or field of study;
  2. If you have doubts about which profession to pursue;
  3. If you don’t feel motivated by the tasks you are currently performing in your job;
  4. If you want to change careers or start over in a different field;
  5. If you want to better understand your skills, interests, and values;
  6. When you need support to plan your long-term career path.

What Are the Benefits of Career Guidance? And Where Can It Be Done?

Undergoing Career Guidance can:
