CONTEXT

Psinove has created a Psycho-Educational Group for parents and educators of pre-adolescents and adolescents, covering central and essential themes for the lives of these young individuals.

This group will take shape through series of 4 thematic sessions, coherent among themselves, led by our Psychologists Sandra Helena, Maria Guerreiro, and Tiago A. G. Fonseca. In May, we inaugurate this group with the first series of topics.

The day-to-day experience and interaction with pre-adolescents and adolescents are not always easy, neither for themselves nor for those around them who share their issues, insecurities, confessions, experiences, and stories. Understanding and grasping their issues becomes crucial for better relationships with them, before and after their transition into these life phases.

Parents and educators have an important role in this management, which is why we invite them to delve into these topics and share experiences with the group, taking with them tools to help their young individuals.

OBJECTIVES

• Create a group for sharing experiences and tools for parents and educators in a safe context;
• Reflect on and become aware of various limits that impact the topics of parents, educators, and young individuals;
• Equip parents and educators with essential tools for understanding and preventing adolescent behaviors;
• Promote a conscious and active parenthood that fosters well-being in the parental dynamic (parents and children).
